La Tavernetta is an all-day waterfront taverna with a coastal Italian kiss in East Boston, MA. We’re the neighborhood place you keep coming back to. Cold oysters, grilled things, a spritz in the sun, and a bar that stays busy well past dinner. Inspired by the all-day, late-night culture of Southern Italy. Built for East Boston.

Our Door’s Open!

We hold a large portion of our dining room for walk-ins to keep things neighborhood-friendly, while also accepting reservations for both indoor and outdoor seating. Our bar is always available on a first-come, first-served basis. The line moves quickly, and there's plenty of space to enjoy a cocktail, hang out, and relax while you wait for your table.
